installation says the rear seat bolts are not to be used for shoulder belts. It's all about belt geometry and the belts running perpendicular to the floor, parallel with the seat back is about as far from ideal as possible. My point is this, aftermarket harness installation not plug and play. I often see it as more of a street cred and cosmetic upgrade for most, who fail to grasp just how much danger they may be putting themselves in with a half-assed install. It's not just about finding an anchor location for the individual belts. There is so much more to it, geometry and anchor point strength for example. If an aftermarket seat is your best solution to your height issue, I'd recommend integrating it with the stock safety belt system.
